Advisory for Candidates appearing for the Sikkim Public Service Commission Examination
Admit Card:
Admit Card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination centre. Candidates must bring the Admit Card
along with valid photo ID Proof.
Download the Admit Cards well in advance from the official website and ensure all details such as Name, Roll No., DOB, Gender,
Category, Exam Date, Time and Venue are correct. In case of any corrections visit SPSC Office before the examination date.
Upload a clear, passport size photograph during registration. Admit Card with unclear or missing photograph will not be accepted,
and entry to the Examination Centre will be denied.
Candidates must read the instructions indicated in the Admit Card.
Admit Cards should be preserved for all future stages of the Examination.
Timings
Entry into the Examination Venue shall be closed 10 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the Examination.
No candidates shall be allowed entry into the examination venue after the closure. No functionary has any discretion in this regard.
Frisking:
Frisking of candidates will begin 1 (one) hour before the commencement of
the first session and 45 minutes before the commencement of the second session.
Candidates shall avoid bringing mobile phones, smart watches,
Bluetooth devices or any other IT related gadgets to the examination venue.
NO ARRANGEMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR SAFEKEEPING OF SUCH ITEMS.
Bags, backpacks of any kind shall not be allowed in the examination venue.

Entry of private vehicles and two wheelers inside the examination venue is strictly prohibited.
Candidates shall only be allowed to carry the following items into the examination venue:
e-Admit card, pen (Black/Blue),pencil, Valid Photo ID Proof and water in see-through small water bottles only.
Dress Code and Conduct:
While no specific dress code has been prescribed, candidates are advised to:
Dress comfortably for the long examination hours.
Avoid wearing caps, hooded clothes or any attire that may cause inconvenience during frisking.
Candidates must strictly follow the instructions of:
Center Supervisors
Invigilators
Any Official associated with the conduct of the examination
Silence and decorum must be maintained inside the examination hall at all times.
Social Media Conduct:
Candidates are advised to refrain posting any exam related
issues in social media.
